Description
The .308 Winchester is a rifle cartridge and is the commercial cartridge upon which the military 7.62x51mm NATO centerfire cartridge is based. The .308 Winchester was introduced in 1952, two years prior to the NATO adoption of the 7.62x51mm NATO T65. Winchester (a subsidiary of Olin Corporation) branded the cartridge and introduced it to the commercial hunting market as the .308 Winchester. Winchester’s Model 70 and Model 88 rifles were subsequently chambered for the new cartridge. Since then, the .308 Winchester has become the most popular short-action, big-game hunting cartridge worldwide. It is also commonly used for civilian target shooting, military sniping, and police sharpshooting. The relatively short case makes the .308 Winchester especially well adapted for short action rifles. When loaded with a bullet that expands, tumbles, or fragments in tissue, this cartridge is capable of high terminal performance.
Good To Go .308 ammunition is great for keeping your skills sharp at the range, precision shooting, hunting or competition events!
This SUBSONIC round is ideal when used with a suppressor. The suppressor stops the sonic signature of the gases pushing the projectile which too are super sonic. These two methods together make a very quiet combination. Powerful .308 terminal ballistics provide serious stopping power in a compact package.
This cost effective .308 ammunition is loaded with a brass casing, large rifle primer and IMR powder along with a 175 grain hollow point (HP). This round is loaded to SAAMI specs along with integrity and attention to detail to ensure reliability and outstanding performance.
The projectile profile may slightly vary from the picture displayed.

Although it took 7 months to receive my order I understand that all reasons were outside of GTGs control. The main reason for the 5 stars is that during the entire time I never was compelled to message them because they stayed on to of it with regular updates. Once they did arrive they performed better than my expectations. Well done
